and so it's business after all
Ft. Saeron & Youngbin

Youngbin had been thinking hard what he could do for his part of the donation, because even though he would organize the charity event himself, he wanted to do something above all of it. Last time when he had organized something like this, he had offered internships at the OCC to make sure that students from all kinds of families and financial backgrounds can take part in such an experience. Needless to say, it was a success, and he had been proud to come up with such an idea, but this time it was different. They were children, young children kept in a hospital for God knows how long, and even though he could have transferred some money to the Yonsei Sarang Hospital above the amount the charity event would accumulate, he wanted to contribute to their well-being in another way. That’s why he decided on looking for some presents for the children at the biggest toy shop of Seoul, but considering that he had no idea what they would be happy for (since he had no younger sibling whom he spent enough time with to know what kids liked these days), he seriously needed a helping hand.
That’s how Saeron came to his mind who immediately offered her help, which he was very much thankful for. He didn’t want to make a scene at the toy shop, nor did he want the children to feel that his presents weren’t suitable for them, so Saeron who spent enough time with children and who was good with them on top of that according to rumours, was just the perfect person he needed in that moment. They decided to meet up on a Friday after work, and Youngbin had offered to take her to the shop with him, thus he waited for her outside until he didn’t catch sight of the woman. Then, he got out of his car to hold the door for her while he greeted her.
“It’s good to see you again, Saeron-ah,” he said with a trace of a smile, happy to see the woman yet worn out from all he had done during the day at work. It was already getting late anyway since they were the ones who always worked until night, so it was no surprise that he was tired already. However, he didn’t want to show it, so when he closed the door on her and got inside the car, he was the first to speak up.
“Thank you for helping me out. I don’t know how I would have done it on my own,” he turned to her before he started the engine, then turned back to concentrate on the route. He really didn’t feel like it would have been sincere on his part if he did it without knowing anything about the preferences of children. To clear any unnecessary tension in the air, he inquired curiously.
“How are you so good with children? Do you have any relatives who are fairly young?” He broached up a topic he had been curious about ever since Saeron had agreed to help him with the charity event, her obvious affection for the younger generation evident in all her smiles and gestures.

and so it's business after all
Ft. Youngbin & Saeron

Saeron was in an exceptionally good mood today. Work went well during the past one month, she even had a trip to France with her mom, and even though it was strictly professional, they still found some time to have a night out where they could explore the magical city of Paris after a day full of long meetings with the french government. It was short, but a definitely needed break away from the toxic atmosphere of Korean people she got tired of. Now it was Myungdae’s turn to travel abroad, staying with a thai friend of the president who was also involved in political businesses. Instead of Saeron, her brother, Taekwoon, accompanied him to this week-long trip, which she didn’t mind. She adored her boys, but she very much needed some time alone, it was refreshing in a way to not have them around the house, though she would have missed them if they’ve been gone for too long.
Youngbin’s call surprised her at first, but she was so happy that the man personally asked her to help him out, it felt good to know that someone thought she could be useful in that area too, thus she was more than glad to agree to a shopping spree with him. It was kind of funny that now her husband wasn’t in the country, she wasn’t surrounded by bodyguards all day. Though they had mutual guards, because they were married, the president’s son was still a priority when it came to protecting them, which was kind of cruel, but that was the world they were living in. Saeron never complained, she felt more free without her chaperones anyway, it was Myungdae who did all the whining, but he had to accept the constant situation as well.
Seeing Youngbin always put a genuine smile to her face, coming out of the office to the sight of him waiting for her felt like coming out to shore after spending the day in the water full of sharks lurking around her.
After the polite and friendly (at this point, Saeron liked to believe they were actually friends despite not being so close to each other) greetings, she buckled herself up and they were on already on their way to the mall. The thought of buying children toys made her excited, she couldn’t wait to look for the best gifts possible.
“It’s nothing, really, I should be the one thanking you for this great opportunity,” She smiled at him, not denying the fact that she loved children. She did everything connected to them with delight, so it wasn’t a nuisance to go shopping with him. Hearing his other question though, made her bite down on her bottom lip, preventing the laugh that was about to break out of her thinking of her reply already. “Oh, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you the truth,” She shook her head, glancing out the window for the sake of the effect, before answering him after he got too curious. “Myungdae and I have a secret kid at home,” She shared this piece of information with him like it was the most confidential one she could tell, and it really was, in a way, except it wasn’t true. But it was worth it, seeing Youngbin’s shocked reaction after the words left her mouth. “Relax, Youngbin-ah, I’m just joking,” She chuckled wholeheartedly. “I always loved kids, so it’s natural for me to care about them.”
She had it in her. This playfulness that only showed around the people she felt herself comfortable with and since there weren’t many of them, this side of her remained on the bottom, oppressed. Until now.
She actually joked around a lot at home with the boys, but with only them, so it was the first time she let someone else, an outsider, she would say, see her funny side too. Which she didn’t deem that funny, only her dear husband and brother swore that she could have been a comedian if she hadn’t chosen politics instead. That was a bit far stretched, but she appreciated their efforts to make her feel loved and welcomed regardless.
It was the first time she let her guards down in front of someone else and it came some naturally she didn’t realize she was doing it until their laughter filled the car. It felt good though, to make Youngbin laugh after shocking him with her silly joke that could have gone real bad if someone else was on the receiving end.

and so it's business after all
Ft. Saeron & Youngbin

Youngbin wholeheartedly wanted to give this charity event his all since it would help children in need, and the younger generation was the most important since they would be the future, their future. He was a weak child when he was younger, coming down with all kinds of illnesses until the doctors found out that he had vitamin deficiencies and that's why he was more prone to getting sick than his peers. It shouldn't have come as a surprise since he was a picky eater and the standard food which her parents forced down his throat wasn't the most varied either. From that moment on, the Ongs' chefs tried their best to meet the young boy's dietary needs, and he was getting a health examination done every single day. Even though he didn't spend a lot of time in hospitals, let alone public ones since his parents always sent him to a private ward, he knew what it felt like going through all sorts of examinations and waiting to get to know the cause behind his weakened state. That's another reason why the charity event meant so much to him.
He let a genuine smile spread across his lips when he greeted Saeron because she was helpful and kind as always. On the other hand, he didn't know why the woman was so thankful for him when he was really the one who needed help, and her assistance was very much appreciated.
Hearing her answer though, her confession stroke like lightning, and he didn't know how to respond, especially not because she was always so honest, and he could have never imagined that she kept such a secret to herself. Needless to say, he was extremely relieved when it turned out to be a joke.
"I must admit that I was very perplexed for a second," he remarked still in the state of shock, yet hearing her carefree laughter, he couldn't help but let out an equally joyous one.  He was surprised, that's for sure, but he was glad that she could let herself loose around him. He didn't know why he triggered such a reaction in her because he was usually seen as someone reserved and unapproachable. Which was, of course, true, he preferred to keep his emotions to himself, and he preferred to be alone. That's exactly why he knew that he had chosen the perfect helping hand for today; with Saeron, they could both let go of the strict rules that the chaebol world demanded them to follow and the facades they needed to keep on to avoid being judged or misunderstood.
The rest of the car ride was spent with a pleasant conversation about their day and the projects they had been working on. It only took 10 minutes to get to the huge toy store, and another few minutes to find a free parking spot. Youngbin felt overwhelming the moment they got inside, and suddenly he didn't even know how to start. He knew that he would jot down his choices along the way and the exact numbers he would need of the items because there was no way one trolley would be enough for the amount of toys he wished to purchase.
"Where do you think we should start?" He turned to Saeron who looked very relaxed even though he had assumed that she had never been there before either. "Maybe we could start with the boys' section and then move onto the girls' section," he suggested with a smile, and pointed at the left rows which were said to be a part of the boys' section. "I may be a male, but I don't know what boys like these days," he admitted rather awkwardly as he scratched the back of his neck. He was more lost in this huge store than he was in all his business meetings combined. That's why Saeron was the best person he could have asked for.

and so it's business after all
Ft. Youngbin & Saeron

Saeron was really delighted to be there. She often visited shops that sold toys for children because she and Myungdae had a beautiful goddaughter, who was also her husband’s niece, the daughter of his sister. Saeron loved spending time with her, so she was no stranger to buying things she could play with, though boys were a whole different case, she had no experience with them either. Nevertheless, she might have been still better choosing toys for them simply because she followed her instincts. She knew it could be a tricky question for men as she saw enough of Myungdae struggling with choosing the right gifts for kids, that didn’t mean he wasn’t great with kids - because he was and every kid seemed to adore him -, so learning from their own life, she didn’t want to assume Youngbin was horrible with kids. Saeron doubted he would have said yes to participate in this project if that was the case, so the thought didn’t even occurred to her.
“Hmm, we only have one little girl in the family, though I hear Star wars is really popular nowadays with kids too,” she pointed to the various shelves that were filled with numerous toys and small gadgets mimicking certain characters of the movies or somehow connecting to them. “I think most boys would like them. Oh, and dinosaurs!” She put her hand on Youngbin’s arm as she spotted the said plushies at the other end of this section. She didn’t realize she was doing this until she turned to look at the man, then she gracefully removed her hand as if it wasn’t there in the beginning. She tried do it as smoothly as she could without creating an awkward atmosphere between them, she didn’t know how Youngbin reacted to skinship and she didn’t want to experience bad reaction in the middle of a children’s shop. Though Saeron knew he would have been polite enough not to make a big deal out if in public, still, it was better to be cautious.
“Why don’t we make some notes?” After some thinking, she pulled out her phone to open the notes app on it, she didn’t want to miss anything they figure out in the end. She quickly typed in what they got so far, looking up when they moved to another aisle. “Ah, right, we can’t miss legos too! Every kids love them, even girls. It might be a safe option for both genders. Also, the older ones might enjoy some board games as well. What do you think?” Saeron curiously looked at Youngbin to hear his thoughts. Even though the man said he didn’t know what boys liked these days, she wanted him to be a part of the choosing, as mainly it was his project. She didn’t want to take over control, he was still the boss after all and she respected that. Plus she wanted to make this as enjoyable for him as it was for her, because she wanted to share the pure joy of doing something for the kids. It still felt surreal that they were doing this, but she couldn’t have been happier that Youngbin chose her for this task. It was a good opportunity to get away from the office a bit, it was already refreshing to spend some time with someone else and not only see the same faces every single day.

and so it's business after all
Ft. Saeron & Youngbin

Youngbin had clearly not thought it through when he decided to buy the presents for the children himself. He should have sent his assistant who was a father of two, a very kind and responsible man, so he should have been a better option than the CEO who was nowhere near becoming a father, nor did he have any relatives who were fairly young. He never really had a chance to get closer to the younger generation, yet even if he did, those were mostly young adults and not little children. However, the child’s department in the Yonsei Sarang Hospital that he was going to support accommodated children up to 19-year-olds, so he had to keep everyone’s preferences in his mind. Despite the obvious discomfort, he knew it wouldn’t have been the same if he had sent someone to go shopping instead of going himself. He would have been faking his sincerity, and he had never hated anything more than two-faced people.
Though he had to admit when Saeron was suggesting more and more toys and her hand rested on his arm for a second, he started to feel like it was a terrible idea to invite her too. What had been a single careless action on her part was a very hurtful experience on his part. He felt uncomfortable around women after he had to say goodbye to the love of his life a few years prior, and never did anything hurt as much as the lack of her presence in his everyday life. Sunflowers reminded him of her smile, shooting stars of her eyes, rose petals of her cheeks and piano pieces of her laugh. He was certain there was a part of him that never really let go of her, even if he knew all too well that he should have forgotten her already.
Yet, he also knew that it wasn’t Saeron’s fault that she had no idea what he had been through, and she merely wanted to be less closed off than she was. It didn’t mean that Youngbin felt any better considering that she was married, and she was obviously in love with her husband, so he felt guilty for sharing her touches when he wasn’t the one whom she should have held onto. He felt guilty even if he didn’t do anything wrong.
“I think we should check this row then,” Youngbin agreed as he pointed at the shelves beside them, walking closer to the said toys with Saeron by his side. She was more aware of kids’ preferences these days, so her knowledge definitely came in handy, and her organization skills too as she even suggested taking notes. He was just about to do the same when the woman spoke up, so he nodded to her words. “We can see what’s in store today and how much we want of the different products. Once we are closer to the event, I’ll order them and have someone to transport them to the hospital,” he explained thoroughly after the woman’s suggestion because they were still a bit far from the charity event, so he wouldn’t have been sensible if he had chosen to buy all the presents right then and there. Yet, keeping track of the ones they had to keep their eyes on was a must, so when they finished with that row, Youngbin told Saeron how much they would need either of them, and she diligently jotted down everything in her phone.
When they moved onto the next section, Saeron was quick to suggest another set of toys.
“I think legos are a good idea, plus board games are something they can play amongst themselves or with their families when they visit them, so I think they are both excellent choices. Let’s see what they have on display!” Youngbin moved forward, looking through the shelves with Saeron who was following him closely. Her enthusiasm was very much appreciated, and he was thankful that she really tried her best even if it was his project. They worked together pretty well, both looking at the options carefully to choose the best ones for the kids.
“You must be really good at games like this,” Youngbin remarked kindly as he held up a word game where one had to guess the meaning of words in different languages. Knowing that Saeron knew quite a lot of languages, Youngbin was sure that her opponent wouldn’t stand a chance against her. “I think we should take two of this, too,” he added, putting back the game because he was sure that the older kids would love it. He himself knew some languages too because it was almost obligatory as a CEO but surely not as much as Saeron.

and so it's business after all
Ft. Youngbin & Saeron

Saeron was grateful when Youngbin didn’t comment on her careless actions towards him. It was indeed a lot to do that because no matter how much they usually understood each other, their friendship weren’t on that level where it would have been a normal friendly touch, especially not when she was married and they were in the political business where they had to pay attention to every move they made, mainly in public. Although their situation wasn’t like the one idols or movie stars had, they weren’t followed by large group of fans and if they were recognized, people tended to stay out of their way, out of fear or simply respect, Saeron was not sure of that. Of course, girls were still fangirling over Myungdae because of his handsome features and somehow, the son of the president was the most famous member of the board. Saeron could get that, her husband had a charming personality and even though he wasn’t a playboy, he very much enjoyed all the attention he got.
The shop had quite a lot of different board games, which wasn’t that surprising considering that it was one of the biggest stores in Seoul. She remembered that board games were here favourite when she was a kid and it felt nostalgic to see one of her true favourites remade on the shelves. But she kept this small detail for herself, they weren’t here to exchange personal childhood experiences.
Saeron was scrolling through her notes, checking what they got so far when Youngbin mentioned some games she must be good at, which made her look up and a genuine smile formed on her lips. She found it kind of funny that the man noticed the word games and thought of her, though it was absolutely justifiable. She reached out to pick up the piece Youngbin put back to observe it from closer, she was actually curious its description.
“I don’t mean to brag, but yes, I’m pretty good at games like this, I enjoy them a lot,” Saeron tried to keep her big grin for herself, but she couldn’t help it, her smile got a bit wider as she was reading the description at the back of the game. “Though you can always try to see it yourself it that’s true, Myungdae whines all the time that it’s only him who gets beaten by me because he is the only one who is willing to play with me,” she glanced at Youngbin with the mysterious look in her eyes that clearly gave away that she was just teasing the man. She did that intentionally, hoping that Youngbin would loosen up a bit, though it wasn’t awkward between them. Her other reason was her curiosity, she knew he wasn’t bad when it came to languages, but never had a chance to experience how many languages did the CEO actually speak. “So if you ever want to help your friend out, I’m sure he’d be delighted to team up with you against me,” she said while she put the game back. She considered buying one for herself she could use at home, because it was never enough of these games, she liked the calm nights where they all gathered up and relaxed a little while playing board games the most. Returning to her previous suggestion, she could have easily said that invitation to make it contain only the two of them, but she had the feeling it would have been too much for Youngbin, so she hoped that the little teasing was okay by including Myungdae as well.
“I think we’re good with boys’ presents, why don’t we check out the girls section then?” She pointed towards the other side of the store, her eyes almost became fluid from the amount of pink she caught sight of just by glancing there for a second. But she knew girls were like that, she had time to somewhat get used to it while buying gifts for her goddaughter, though she had the inkling Youngbin wouldn’t quite think the same thing.

and so it's business after all
Ft. Saeron & Youngbin

Not every seemingly generous act was made with good intentions in real life, and as someone who was a part of the chaebol world, Youngbin knew it from first-hand experience. His father organized events to earn a reputation for himself, to make it seem like he was some kind of a saint when in fact he didn't care about anything but fame and money. If he was said to be the one who had the most grandiose, the most luxurious fundraising event or business party that week, he was a content man. Yet, if anyone dared to say a malicious comment about him, he didn't back away until he washed himself clear. His mother, on the other hand, usually had a good intention when it came to charities and helping the ones in need. However, she was a wife, so she had to accompany her husband wherever he went, she didn't really have a choice. At least, in their world, it was how things worked.
Youngbin knew that he could organize anything, do anything, it was how he felt about it what mattered the most. That's also why he chose Saeron to help him with the gifts; he knew she had the right intentions.
"I'm not surprised. These games were made for you," he remarked with a tiny smile when Saeron admitted that she was good at games related to languages. Of course she was, but it didn't mean that her success was based on sheer luck. Absolutely not. She must have worked extremely hard to be able to speak so many languages fluently, because language learning was something that was easy only for a short while. Maintaining the same level was probably the hardest when it came to language learning, and considering that she used a lot of languages for her work daily, she must have worked even harder.
"Oh, I'm certain I would be of no help for Myungdae. I only know three languages other than Korean, and I don't even use French that frequently," Youngbin responded quickly because she didn't want the woman to make the wrong assumption about his language proficiency. Even though he was a CEO himself, he mainly used Korean, English and Chinese for his business, French was something he started learning in high school and tried to perfect his skills during his university studies. Though he didn't use it very frequently in his daily life, only to read some political articles or classical books in French. French was more of an interest of his as it was said to be the language of diplomacy, plus he liked the pronunciation of the French words. There was something very artistic about their sounds.
Youngbin nodded when Saeron suggested moving on to the girls' games section because they had selected enough for the boys. While they slowly started walking towards the bright rows, the man couldn't help but inquire about her favourite pastime activities since she had already mentioned games.
"Do you usually pass the time playing board games with Myungdae when you are off-work?" He quirked an eyebrow as he averted his eyes to the petite female who radiated calmness and confidence despite her height. Youngbin was always amazed how well she carried herself around business gatherings because she was a female, and on top of that a wife, and important figures like her never had it easy.
As they walked between the shelves, Youngbin suggested some toys and games, although it was definitely not his cup of tea. He let Saeron agree or disagree with his ideas because she was so much better at it herself. They worked together smoothly and a bit carefully for the time being but as minutes passed by, they became more and more comfortable with each other, and it was scarce that two introverted people like them who lived between artificial walls could let loose beside anyone. Maybe they had more in common that they would have previously thought.

and so it's business after all
Ft. Youngbin & Saeron

Saeron thought it was a good choice on her part to agree to this little shopping trip for the kids. She could at least get out of her monotonous daily routine and do something new, for a good cause on top of that. With Youngbin, she could talk freely about things, not on a deep level to go over some line, but if deep topics ever came up - like children or political business - she was always interested to hear his opinion. He didn’t have that posh and somewhat arrogant attitude like most people in their circle did. Youngbin was a wise man despise his young age and Saeron very much appreciated that.
“Hmm, and I’m sure games relating to arts were made for you,” she wondered loudly in response to his remark. It was easy to keep the conversation going, though the silence between them wasn’t awkward either.
“Well, I believe you, but you could never know until you tried,” she shrugged, but she didn’t try to talk him into something he didn’t want. Some people felt uncomfortable if they had to do things they didn’t really like and Saeron respected others’ decisions.
She chuckled upon hearing his curious question, she knew a lot of people would have died to get a small peek at their ordinary life at home because unlike attention seeker couples, they didn’t talk about their private life often, or at least never gave away specific details. However, she was certain Youngbin wasn’t hungry for juicy gossips he could pass on. On the contrary, Saeron felt it was a long time ago someone had asked a genuine question because they were actually interested in the answer itself.
“Hard to imagine us like that, huh?” she smiled discreetly. Maybe because she knew the truth, but she couldn’t imagine themselves as a lovely-dovey couple either. They were too mature for that anyway. “Sometimes. We don’t get much free time and we’re often tired, but it’s definitely funny to play board games with Myungdae, mostly because he’s not so good at them, but that's totally my unofficial opinion about his playing skills,” Saeron warned him with a serious look on her face, though soon after she broke out in a big, somewhat playful smile. There was no harm telling Youngbin about this.
Her brother was also living with them and he made sure the two politicians could forget about work and let loose even if it was just for a night. The three of them often hang out together if they all had time.
“I think we are good with girls’ gifts as well, we collected many things,” she looked down at the notes in her phone and she was pleased to see the long list of nicer and nicer child games. Time flew next to Youngbin, they finished the bigger of this task so fast despite spending a little more than an hour at the shop, yet they wrote down a lot of great ideas, so she considered that a victory.

and so it's business after all
Ft. Saeron & Youngbin
Arts were a part of Youngbin; not just because he was the CEO of the Ong Cultural Centre but also because he often found himself playing the old piano in his house or painting flowers on his canvas in all the possible colours of the world. He used arts as a way to relieve stress and to let off some steam after a long and exhausting working day. He wished for nothing but to be alone in his own world far away from all the responsibilities and strict rules he had to follow day-to-day. He never learned art history or applied arts as he had to follow his father’s footsteps and study business, but he was always one who enjoy learning about paintings, poetry and architecture.
“Well, I wouldn’t say that I know everything art-related but I could probably do better than with any other boardgame,” Youngbin concluded when Saeron mentioned that those kinds of board games were probably made for him. Truth to be told, he didn’t really play with such games, he had never even done because his family was really strict while bringing him up, so such childish games were nowhere to be seen in the Ong mansion. He was taught to work hard from the very beginning, and until he didn’t move away from home, his schedule was already made for him without his constant.
Youngbin let a small smile escape his lips when Saeron asked if it was hard to imagine her playing board games with Myungdae. Frankly, even if he knew these two, especially Myungdae, he couldn’t really tell what kind of relationship they really had behind the scenes because he could only see how they acted in public. Of course, it was how it was supposed to be since he wasn’t that close to either of them, but he didn’t want to lie to her.
“A bit.” He nodded to prove his point and listened to the woman’s joyous laughter with a peace of mind. He knew well that she wasn’t the type to open up so easily, thus he was glad that she didn’t feel uncomfortable beside him. He wasn’t very intimidating, he hoped he wasn’t, yet he was aware that introverted people could be introverted no matter who was beside them. He was the same.
“You’re right,” he agreed solemnly when Saeron concluded that they were done with the girls’ gifts as well. “I believe we’ve finished here for now. Thank you for your assitance!” he added as he looked at this phone and noticed that it was getting late. No wonder since they got here after their working hours and they were both the type to do some extra work whenever they could because they weren’t satisfied until everything was finished for the day.
They started walking out of the store when a question crossed Youngbin’s mind. It may not have been a necessary question but he didn’t want to get anything wrong.
“Are you heading home, right?” He raised an eyebrow in question, asking just to make sure that he wouldn’t drive in the completely opposite direction. Though he hoped that she didn’t want to go back to her work place because she shouldn’t overwork herself, especially after her last illness. God knows what could the press say about another sick leave.

and so it's business after all
Ft. Youngbin & Saeron

Saeron didn’t mind at all she agreed to come with Youngbin, it was a rather nice closure of her day, something to take her mind off of office troubles and stress. She was grateful she was able to spend her afternoon with doing great things for children, yet relax in the process in a way she could have never at home. Official working hours didn’t matter when important government business needed to be done, so she was always on call unless another program was scheduled in her calendar. Though if something really bad happened they wouldn’t have hesitated to call her immediately, but at least she was safe from seemingly meaningless cases they could handle without her assistance. Saeron thought of giving Youngbin a bottle of hers and Myungdae’s fine wine collection to show her gratitude for letting her take part in this charity. She might not have known about it if the man haven’t asked her. She was a simple woman who genuinely found joy in helping people and appreciated every opportunity she got to do that. Myungdae always said it would be the first thing to make him fall in love with her if he wasn’t gay, but he never failed to admire her beautiful soul even as her best friend.
“Maybe one day we’ll get a chance to test these theories out,” she smiled wondering if it would ever happen. Even if their group of friends liked gatherings so much, the most of them were party people, not a lot of them liked other ways of relaxing, just the ones doing more serious works and got tired easily to have strength to go to parties.
Saeron wasn’t surprised Youngbin couldn’t imagine them being at home like that. They liked to keep their private life separate from work and at home. Just as she didn’t know anything about Youngbin’s personal life either. He was a quite introverted guy, but there was no problem with that. Saeron liked his company regardless.
“Really, it was my pleasure! Thank you for inviting me along, if you need any help don’t hesitate to call me again!” She nodded with a genuine smile playing on her lips, walking next to him. It was already dark outside but the weather was nice and a lot of people roamed around the streets. A couple of them even recognized them which was only natural as Saeron was a public figure and Youngbin was a well-known CEO himself. “Yes, I’m heading home,” she answered, getting into the car.
The ride was nice, filled with comfortable silence here and meaningful talks there, they didn’t need to put their masks on and play nice and polite to avoid reading articles that shaded them, they could share their honest opinions with each other, and this meant a lot to Saeron who lacked of friends.
“Thank you for bringing me home. Good night, Youngbin!” She bid her goodbyes and walked up to their house that waited herself empty, since her boys were in another country.
